Pioneer AVIC D3 install in 01 x5 w/nav

OK, I finally, finally got it done. I 've read that it could not be done but for me, getting the aftermarket HU to work is getting it done. What I did may not be the best way or the only way but what it is...is a way. If anyone thinking about doing the same shoot me a pm and I will share with you my experience.
