Need help... Losing battle with Dynavin install!

Well.... When i tried to do the DSP work around, I lost communication with the iBus. Lost my dash turn signal flashers, but outside still works. Lost, auto-PDC sensors, reverse lights, OBC and a few more things related to the LCM.

Tried to wire in a new amp using the old factory speaker wires. Not the best idea but, still gave me sound...for a little while at least?

Long story short.... I think my alternator took a crap....again (2 months old) and battery went kaput. Maybe all are related as a result of the alternator dying but, maybe the remanufactured alt died because its a reman? Oddly enough, just before the alternator took a shit, when i turned on the dynavin the amp powered up and then the speakers would be blasting so loud it was scary and lowering the volume on the HU wouldnt help. Only option was to turn the HU off completely!! I'll get both battery and alt changed out this weekend and see what happens. i'll probably bail on the Dynavin install for now, with just wiring back in the old system (whats left of it anyway) and see what happens. Luckily, I have my 2003 e53 with dsp and can use parts from it for necessities! My 16 ye old daughter won't care.... Right? D'oh!

Ok a little update... I guess others are as stumped as I am or are counting their lucky stars tehy don't have the same issues I'm having?? You lucky dogs you!! ;-p

I wired (w/ neg battery cable off) the old DSP amp (speakers & Sub), Business CD and MID back up. Reconnected the battery and show they have power as the CD player accepts a CD and spits it out but, the MID isn't displaying any info nor is anything playing through the speakers. Still no IBUS communication to several modules and no steering wheel control. I have the GT1 software but, can't seem to get it to connect? I think I need to re-install the software, plus breakdown and buy the VMware "workstation" virtual machine program for $200?

Anyone have a better solution or suggestion for "Virtual Machine" software I can use with windows XP or 7?

Thanks in advance!!
