Not sure about parking distance but for your seat belt you will need to code your car to disable the warning. I prefer not to start a debate on the +/- of the warning so I will let you search out the rest of the info. Search for NCS and seat belt. good luck

Thank you BabyCAP. My mechanic couldn't find any settings on his scanner to edit any of these, that why I am asking if other tools can do it, or it cannot be edited by default

it is in the scanner, you need the NCS Expert software, laptop and the OBDII - USB cable to change setting for seat belt gong, key in ignition gong and many othe features... PDC sensitivity can't be changed to my knowledge, but maybe somebody knows otherwise.

you MUST be super careful with NCS, as it can change your engine settings along with many other vital options...

Thank you Terminator. I'll stick the passenger seat belt into mine as it is easier and cheaper

golden, i am glad i could help... driving with or without seat belt on is your business but...

but, I would strongly suggest that you use the belt, as it helps you stay in place during hard driving instead of sliding around the car... There are many other benefits of staying in control while driving a car - think about the race car drivers who actually use a 5-point belt system, just to make sure they are not bouncing around the car...

But.. this is my opinion... you do as you deem fits best you...

good luck...

Thanks xs3c. Thanks Terminator for your suggestion. I agree with you about the necessity of using seat belt for security reasons. But in my country in town, there is always a traffic jam so your speed won't exceed 25 miles speed. of course the gong sign is not heard all times and there is to risk for injuries. It is different on highways

A seat belt can make the difference of your face in the airbag, (which hurts a LOT), or not. The airbags WILL deploy at that speed. 25mph is PLENTY to cause injury in an accident. If it were not for the airbag, 25mph and no seatbelt could send you through the windshield. With the airbag, one big danger is to your legs. Without the lap portion of the belt, you can hurt your knees/legs.

Our county police here have a seatbelt simulator that they bring to fairs. It straps you into a car seat and sends you down a little ramp, to a dead stop at the end of the ramp. It is supposed to simulate a 15mph impact. It amazes anyone who rides it how hard a 15mph impact can be; actually somewhat painful from the belts. You know right away without the belts you would have been launched.

Please wear your seatbelt all the time....you will definitely not regret it if the unthinkable happens.
