X5 E53 Rear ball joint removal/install tool for under $100 brand new

Why pay between $50 to $150 to rent this tool when you can buy a brand new one for under $100.

I used this tool and was able to remove and install my ball joint in under 10 minutes.

BTW: I tried those homemade options using plumbing pipes and exhaust tubes, they were a waste of time and money.

do you just take off the wheel to remove and install the new ones, or is there more disassembly required?
