Any SF/Bay Area Members Interested in a Group Work Day?

I'm thinking about doing this upgrade:

http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...omplete-6.html

It requires minimal tools and a decent amount of time (3-5 hours). All we would need is the print out of the thread to follow the steps and an area to park the cars. Any interest?

You know the sad part. ECS had a sale on that switch once. It was $40. I was going to buy it, but forgot. Next time I went to look at it, it was over $100.

I would do this type of meet, but do you want to drive to NYC?

Exactly. I was bummed when I searched the ECS site and couldn't find the switch at all. Believe me Slick, I would love to do the drive just to hang and talk shop for awhile. However, don't think the wife would sign off on that one. Maybe one day.

lol yea, my CEO would not sign off on that either.

I am going to add this switch to my list of when I call Bloomfield. Lets see the price Craig comes back with. I'll let you know.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I loved rear fogs back in the day on my old VW, but the switch for our cars is so expensive! How much is that trailer harness in the DIY thread too?

Yeah Ricky, I hear ya. I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't already have the TCM installed. The Oem hitch was the first thing I purchased and installed when I got the car.
