Location of K31: Cigar Lighter relay

Hi Guys,

Can anyone please confirm for me, where the K31 Cigar lighter relay is, that switches ground through to the front console, and centre rear console cigarette lighter sockets?

--
I blew the 25A fuse when plugging in a gadget. I've replaced that fuse, but the front and centre cigar lighter plugs are no longer working. I've tested, and both plugs have +12V supplied, but neither have earth connection.

As seen in the attached circuit diagram clip from WDS, in Australia (for some reason), the relay K31 is used to switch earth connection for these sockets. I'm assuming that I have fried this relay, but I WDS doesn't show where the relay is physically located. I know about the relay panel in the back quarter panel (in the rear cargo area), but can't find reference to it there.

Anybody able to help please?

Merry Christmas Btw

There are relays in the glove box behind the fuse box. I know for sure one goes to your fuel pump.

Thanks mate. I found the fuse panel above the glovebox. I believe I need to remove the glovebox (which I've seen instructions for by removing 6 screws, and the damper pin). Is there definitely relays on that panel back there (including K31)? WDS doesn't give me a component location for K31, so was hoping I could get a location for it (ie: engine bay, under wheel well, in air cleaner etc )...
Cheers + thanks,
Scott.

Found it! It's in position #3 on the diagram below, which as you say, is behind glovebox.
****EDIT****: My bad: it's actually in the engine bay, not in glovebox

God knows why we need special wiring in Australia, different to the rest of the world, for cigarette lighters? Kangaroo avoidance circuitry? Ok, that would need to be unique for Australia; but cigarette lighters?

Thanks guys..

Ooops. Sorry. It's in the fuse box in the engine bay: not behind the glove compartment.

Getting to this fuse box is a pain. You have to take off the air grill thing that's just under the air vents at the top of the bonnet, locate the plastic fuse box cover (opposite side of car to brake master cylinder), undo 5 allen key bolts, and carefully lift off the plastic cover. Not fun.

Just putting this here in case anyone googles, and finds this thread and goes to the wrong spot..

Did this resolve the issue? All three of my dc plugs (both in the console, and, the one under the glove box) do not work....
