New X5 Owner - Nervous

I had been looking for a 2001-2003 X5 for about 4 months now. Its hard to find a 4.4 with black leather and a sport steering wheel but I finally found it and with 112k miles no less!

This is where the problems started. I looked at the title and I noticed it said 60,327/Actual for the mileage. The guy gave me a bill of sale stating the miles were 113k (which seems low) and the X5 itself also says 113k. I'm in the process of running a carfax now but it may be too late since I paid for it and signed. the bill of sale.

To top it all off, there is a sort of tick coming from the engine. Its not valve tick but Im not sure what it can be. It only does it when on idle and it goes away when the rpms increase.

I only paid $5k though, hoping I can fix these things. Any ideas of what it can be?
