Well the mirror is not held in by screws, it is 4 clips/slots the mirror slides into, so i'm a bit confused as to how I can help. you literally have to slide the whole mirror UP out of the 4 posts/clips to get it free, then you can slide the electrical connections for the heating element out, and possibly unclip the autodimming harness if you have that feature.
Or are you actually talking about the entire mirror assembly that bolts to the door? If so and you broke the head off the screw completely, unfortunately you are in a pickle.

not the screws to the door that one is fine one of the screws that help the mirror fold .. under the mirror there is a little circle cap take that off and there are 4 little screws there i wish i had a pic so i could show you lol
