Early morning drive.

Went for an early morning drive today to stretch the legs on the old gal, stopped for coffee and snapped a quick shot. The orange tape is an art project with my 9yr old son, I thought it came out kinda funky against the early morning sky.

You can tell the truth... Just admit you can't drive well in snow, the orange tape is there to keep other drivers from hitting you.

ha ha... I'm just busting your balls.

Body clock had me up early so I figured I would take advantage of the open roads to do some spirited driving. Its been cold as hell for what seems like forever here and my daily commute is under 5 miles...not exactly the ideal combination with the wonderful oil separator/ccv issues we are saddled with.

I've already had one close call this winter with the separator and had to do the thaw and change oil routine so i'm trying to be more mindful and manage it better, plus it was fun to stretch the legs a little bit.

The front and rear lower bumper pieces were missing when I bought it, still debating what direction to go with those. Part of me wants to get the stock pieces and part of me wants to do something that goes with the lines of the vehicle but is unique and understated. I'm debating coilvers in the spring so that may help me decide. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I would love to hear them.

LOL! The guys at work have been bustin' balls over it too, its actually been a fun project. My son is way into race car designs/solor schemes lately, we have been playing with Photoshop but son that wasn't enough, he wanted some real world application so I thought "what the hell, why not?" We were going for a track safety car theme, just trying to figure out the next steps (if any), maybe a very small amount of white in the mix somewhere.

A funny side effect is people seem to get out of the way a little more than normal.
