a little off to repair wise w/c repairs

I know we all complain about the cost of repairs on these bmws ,am I right? I`m a tech in the health care feild ,I repair power chairs ,wheel chairs, scooters elevators ,pretty much anything health care related things that move, now you want to see expensive parts that some of my customers have to pay out of pocket because they have no assistance . for instance gb motors which are brushless motors on a power chair wear out to replace those is like 1700.00 can ea and theres 2, or if a joystick goes on a chair which is what you drive a chair with about 1000.00 can or even a controller which would be like a main computer in a car 2000.00 can, plus labor for repairs and these people have no choice but to find a way to pay for it(sometimes they do get help from the government though. its basically their legs or their not getting anywhere, its sad I know but thats the health care feild which isn`t right but I don`t make the prices up. anyways after that is said and done we like luxory and thats it and we shouldn`t complain about it like alot of us do. thats my 2 cents if anyone cares

In my case , I understand it's a luxury car (high end) and prices are logically more expensive. What I'm complaining about is the frequency between each repairs. If I have to replace a part that is worth 1000$ but I have to change it only once every 10 years then I'm fine with it. But if the same part fails every 2 years when I'm under the impression it should last much longer, compared to other models , then I don't feel so good about it
So to come back to your wheel chairs, if my friends wheel chair's joystick fails every 10 years at a cost of 1000$ and my chair's joystick fails every 2 years at a cost of 1000$ , am I in right to complain about the quality of my joystick but overall , complain at why did I pay more for my chair if my joystick fails more often then the cheaper chair....Frustrating right?
I can applaud the good things about BMW but I'm not getting blinded by the BMW logo when it comes to the bad thing and I give myself the right to bash them for their German engineered flaws.....

on wheel chairs I see motors fail way to many times within 2 yrs because of made in china crap like alot of stuff these days. make it cheap ,sell expensive, who cares about the consumer ,thats what the world has come too.

Right.... there use to be a time where one would say: " I'll pay more but I will have quality and it'll last me longer."
No such thing now. Today they want you to buy the huge 50 inch TV for a song but when it breaks , they charge you as much as you paid for it so in the end , it's not worth repairing , you just buy a new one. Hmmmmm that must be BMW's eveil plan....
lol
