Meyle Suspension Kit. Thoughts?

It's time to refresh the suspension components on our iS. I'm about to get this kit from FCP.
BMW 20 Piece Control Arm Kit (X5 E53) - X520PIECEKITMY1 | FCP Euro

Your thoughts on those? If you have any of them, what's your experience?
Anything else I need? The bags and struts are good.

TIA.

Tam thats a smokin kit, considering they give you HD rated Tie Rods, Thrust Arms, and Front and rear sway endlinks.

If you haven't done any front/rear suspension work yet on the iS I would get definitely not hesitate to buy that full kit. Only thing left is subframe bushings but basically you're all set.

I have mixed feelings with Meyle suspension components. You do know that they don’t make any of these components in Germany…? They outsource from China and put Meyle Germany on the arms, LOL… Unless all the parts are HD line, I wouldn’t. I had failures with Meyle upper control arms, sway bar links, and strut mounts failure within a year with other BMWs. And yes, I know how to torque with suspension loaded. Only Lemforder or OE for me…

^ I feel the same way...the only Meyle stuff I would put on is the HD stuff.

Rest, I'd go OE, which is usually Lemforder.

The meyle tension strut bushings are pretty good. However, I have had issues with their tie rods and don't really trust their ball joints. I would go with Lemfoerder or Febi/Bilstein.

I sourced the HD parts from FCP for my rear suspension rebuild and was very pleased with the results. The only parts they didn't have were the swing arm bushings, so I ordered the Lemfoerders from another supplier.

I suggest OE or OEM parts only especially if you plan on keeping your X5 for another few years.
