Lots of unused plugs???

So I was pulling the rear hatch apart on my new to me 01 v8 sport. Seems like there was a lot of unused plugs laying around. I know the dsp setup was a bit hacked due to a PO installing an aftermarket sub.
I snapped a few pics. Any ideas?

This one is attached at the middle of the hatch just behind the bumper.

This one is 2 wires. Blue/grey blue/red.

This one I think I figured out. It's the ses plug. I found the blue housing floating around in the hatch. Put it together and popped an ses module on it. VR now works.

This looks a lot like the cdc plug. But it's not. No Ibus wire. I have a similar one in my 7 that used to go to a phone amp iirc.

This is the cdc plug (has Ibus). But I cand find the 6 pin connector to go with it, or an extra dsp wire. I hooked up a cdc, but there is no way to output audio.

This one is mounted by the dsp sub and the passenger tail light.

This one is in a pile of wires on the drivers side hatch. The PO moved everything around. Including the factory amp. It's just sitting down in the hole with no fasteners. The connector in question is the black one attached to the others.

Y help would be greatly appreciated. I hooked up a Bluetooth tcu and antenna. Just waiting for my wife to get back with my car. I left the actual tcu in my trunk. Ses works fine, so I think the Bluetooth should be good to go.

I also noticed a bunch in the engine bay too. One on each side behind the headlights, near the heater control valve, on the passenger side strut tower.
They're everywhere. I was hoping it was prewired for nav, but noooo.
No extra plugs there

This could be for the phone option. Careful about plugging that into a CDC because the ground and power are reverse.

the one on the first picture could be for the trailer harness - the piece that goes from the back wall to the battery area and terminates in the same 15-pin connector... to complete the circuit, you need to plug the one in the battery compartment to the tow module, and install a harness from the outside of the car (by the tow hitch) to the pictured plug...

the one for the CDC should be keyed, so it should be able to mate with CDC but it might not be the case, they use similar connector for many applications, like the mike in the front, or the power for the garage opener... in the rear it might be phone, but i doubt it...

the lonely plug with 3 active pins (and 3 blanks) could be X322... is there an ibus line in that plug?

i am curious about the part number for the one on the right side by the tail light with a holder that twists into a hole in sheet metal and holds the connector securely... wonder if this one has anything to do with the PDC speaker...

The one near the sub is for the PDC rear speaker.

Thanks for all the help guys.
It might take a while to figure out the one in the first pic. The trailer harness is back ordered without a potential ship date. Bummer too, it has a hitch, just no wires

As for the cd changer, I have it plugged in. It powers up the cdc, but there is no extra dsp wire to plug in. So no way to output audio.

The part number on the one near the right tail is 8 364 655. I know it's missing the first 4 digits. But they weren't there. There's a 968 153-1 above those numbers. Is it possible these cars come presided for pdc? The two wire is pdc speaker and this one is the pdc module?
The one with 3 pins in a 6 pin connector does not have Ibus. Just a blue/yellow, yellow/red, and a yellow/grey.

Again, thanks for the help and ideas.

Here's a pic of the connector part number. The one near the right tail light that has a twist mount for the body.

I added PDC and needed the rear harness, speaker & sensors. The front harness was there.

Good to know. Where was the front harness found? I assume it was routed to the area where the module mounts? Was the module x5 specific? I have a few spare pdc units from a 7.
