Converting Rear Air Suspension to Spring - Got some parts, what else do i need!

Hi guys

Lately my Rear left hand suspension sit slightly lower than the right hand side.
I believe my Air bag has had a leak somewhere ......... although i didn't get any warning on the dash .... or should i?

Anyhow, i've managed to get hold of 2 complete rear springs and shocks from an 04 E53 model, would this FIT mine since mine is an 02 model?

Also beside from what's in the photo, do i need any other parts to carry out the work?

Thank you

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
Does your X have sport package? I hope if so that the donor car had sport package as well.

Should be an easy R&R but when you delete the air springs you will need coding to get rid of the SLS error

There's sports package (P330A), and sports suspension settings (S226A). Sports suspension settings use different damper and spring rates to standard, and also reduced ride height.

The hardest part will be getting rid of the air Susp inactive error message. Hopefully your local dealer can do it for you.

You will also need the upper spring pad and adaptor (rubber pad like part) for the top of the spring to sit on.

RealOEM.com * BMW E53 X5 3.0i SINGLE COMPONENTS FOR REAR SPRING STRUT

You need parts 14 & 15.

Basically you need parts for the V6 model that comes with coils standard.

And I think you might need #13 as well. And fyi I did not change the shock absorbers and all was fine. The truck rode exactly the same as when it had air suspension.
