Does anyone what the official release date is for the X5 LCI ?

I saw it advertised on TV last night?

A friend in Brisane siad the dealer was expecting their showroom car early this week :driver:

Perth update
 

I just got told by the Perth dealer that they have LCI vehicles on the ground in their bond store - they are not planning to move them to the showroom until the previous model stock has been fully sold.

Also told that my vehicle is on the water - arriving Fremantle late July for delivery mid-August. Not sure how my order didn't make the first shipment considering the order was made on the 09 April....hmm!

Just had a look at the new X5, the dealer has both the 40d and the M-Sport version which has different front & rear painted bumpers to the standard X5 LCI.

Also has the new 5 series which I think has google maps and a far better NAV business unit - bigger screen, he said that the X5 will be getting that also in the near future, probably a Sept/Oct upgrade. The 5 series and x5 share the alot on tha same options, HUD etc!

Think I will put an order in for a Jan 2011 build M-sport 40d? unless I hear about a hybrid X5 in between.

Watrob, Was there a 50i model in the showroom?

I went out the back paddock at the dealers, he had about a dozen different new X5's, not sure whether there was a V8 there or not?
