Almost time to take it down to the car wash, me thinks. Ordinarily it's sapphire black, 2005 3.0d sports, black interior, sat nav, tv, and, my girlfriends favourite thing, heated seats!

Now 12 months old.

2005 3.0d. Wife at wheel on local farm track. Late afternoon winter light. Canon EOS 30D with 28-135mm zoom. The X even got a wash given the occasion of having its photo taken although it doesn't look that clean up close.

A relatively stock 2009 X5 3.0d with Executive and Sports Pack options. After owning it for a while now, I thought it's about time I freshen it's looks. So on their way is an OEM titanium (finish) grill set and titanium (finish) bumper mesh kit to replace the original black grill and mesh.
