Clicking felt through Steering Wheel?
 

Hi Fellow Aussie X5ers, Just sold my E36 so i can spend some dough on my e53. I think I think I will follow previous advice and head to German Autohaus in Richmond but I wonder if anyone has had a clicking when turning problem with their steering?
My prob seems to unrelated to what's going on on the road and more noticable at parking /low speeds. more felt through the wheel than heard.
Seems to feel north of the rack though. and not in the suspension.
I suspect u joint or slip ring, any ideas??

did you ever find the problem? I noticed the same. Parked i can turn the wheel to the left and hear a click in the engine compartment on the drivers side bottom and to the right is the same.
