Yeh did that on the last one, the wheel base on the leftside is 10mm shorter than the rightside as the X5 is really designed to be a lefthand drive car. So it needs a castor kit which are these offset bushes.

Well my X5 M50d is on the ship and due to arrive in Brisbane around the 9th June, Delievery is set down for around the 29th June.

I'm curious because I am thinking of doing the same when it is upgrade time!

My old x5 with all the options, ceramic pads & coloured calipers came to $180k, I just bought another 3 years warranty for it, 4 new tyres, a $1,200 service plus 12 months rego, that's another $10k just this week and got $125k for it.

The new one is $190k on the road with towbar, ceramic pads & painted calipers plus all the options.

So my old X5 is a good buy, you save $70k, and you get 3 years warranty and won't need new tyres, also thru in a spare set of brake pads (although not needed, there is still 60klm left in the current pad set). It's only just run in being diesel.

M50d has arrived, pre-delievery next week, then the week later the dealer does his thing, so around 2 weeks and I will be on the road.

Ok, my M50d is being pre-delivered, just found out that the M50d has the audio system connected to the engine management system and can play back the exhaust note thru the speakers, the same as the new M5 (V8) sedan does?
