Most bus issue, asking for some input here
 

I just bought an 09 diesel that I knew the audio didn't function. Was told by the shop that was working on it that it needed a new sdars module. I get in there and find that the TCU module is missing and the sdars module has water dripping from it! Now, I want to complete my most loop so I can continue diagnosis. I ordered a most bus bridge ( should have it tomorrow). I plan on looping out the TCU and seeing if audio is restored. I tried to loop it out at the most junction block but it didn't change anything. So when I eventually do get another TCU...
Can a used TCU be installed and function without additional programming?
If it needs software/coding will a simple reflash suffice?

Thanks for any input. Hopefully the 41st guy might have some input. I'm rolling in silence man!
