Photo of a V600
Hi guys,
I recently brought a snap-in cradle for my V600. The cradle arrived this morning, but I found there's a silver-pin-liked thing, sticking out of the cradle. And I'm unable to fit the phone into the cradle. The cradle does have the right part number on the back. 84.21-0 307 726. I was wondering if anyone has a picture of this cradle, so I can verify if this is the right cradle I'm looking for. Thanx!!! :) |
The silver pin is the hook up for the external antenna. Most phones have a little rubber plug on the back of them that fills the hole for the external antenna. I'm not familiar with how the V600 looks having never owned one, but I would guess on the back above where the battery is you will find a little round rubber plug. Remove that and then the pin should fit right into that hole. This gives improved reception as it allows your phone to use the car's antenna instead of its own.

As the post says above! pull out the rubber bung I had to do this on my V635

I agree with the comments above. Remove the rubber plug to reveal the antenna connection and it should fit just fine into the snap-in adaptor.

Thanx for the help once again guys!
I never realise there's a external antenna connection under one of these black rubber. You really do learn new things everyday! |
