Has anyone purchased a Razr V3i

They are not in Cingular stores as of yet but I see them being sold unlocked.
Are these phones legit?

I was about to buy one yesterday to replace my V3, but the guy said in three weeks they're releasing the iTunes version here, so I might as well wait...Same price apparently...

If its available here, you should be able to get a hold of 'em anywhere...

Yes, they are genuine Motorola phones.

I have the V3i with I-Tunes. I bought it in E-Bay when they first came out. Now there about $100 cheaper. I don't think you can get the I-Tunes verison in a USA retail store; now or ever. Only way is E-Bay.
Good news it is 100% compatible with BMW bluetooth.
I prefer my Sony Ericssion P901, but the address book will not work with BMW Bluetooth. ARG!!!

My contact at Cingular tells me that they should have it in the stores in the June/July timeframe. In the mean time, I'll enjoy the "exclusivity" ;)

Here's the scenerio. I'm sitting in the board room. Cingular execs were invited to the meeting to give a presentation. I had set my phone on the table in case I received a page, and the regional VP for Cingular spys my phone. "Wow, nice phone, where did you get that?", he says with sincere intrique. "I have a very good source", I replied. He turns to his Sales VP with one of those looks and asks "when are we going to have those available in the stores, and why haven't you gotten me one yet?" The sales VP, with a sheepish look, responds that they should be in stores in a month or two. I just smile and don't say another word. :D

I can help if he wants it sooner. ;)

What? A sales VP without the product they are suppose to sell? Very interesting.

looks a lot like the plain old v3...is the i tunes the only difference?
personally, that's not much of a selling point to me, but that's a funny story UCREW...always good to show up a sales guy, any time you can...esp ones who need to be taken down a notch....

I personally hardly have any time at all to listen to music, let alone on my phone...LOL
