Razr Snap-In Adapter.....

Is there an update regarding the availability of the snap-in adapter for the Razr phone (Part#84210415023) yet? Last I heard there were over 300 on national backorder.

Martin: you back from Maawee yet?:dancing:

considering how long it has taken them to come out with the Razr adapter, I'd say we are looking at sometime in late 2007. :banghead:

The Razar snap in is available, however not for the X5 at this time. I think its for the 3 6 and 7 series. I did get a snap in for the K750/W800 though.

If anyone does want to get a hold of them; check with Justin at Roveractive...

The part BMW released will not work in the X5 without some custom modifications to the console cradle. I have my cradle sent off to Canada for this modification by someone that's done several for e46's and e38's. Mine will be his first e53, and hope to have it back next week. I'll let you know when I have it installed.

I don't have the Razr one; I have the K750/W800 one; is that what you are asking?

Check eBay for seller roveractive or look for him on here. He is a vendor here and can get many things including the euro headlights for 04 and ups...

Let me know if this modification of the cradle works out for you, I'd be highly interested in making that move to modify (if your source would make one for me) also.

I'm sure the mod will work; since people got it work in the E46...

Razr Mods

3 Attachment(s)
The mods mentioned to fit the razr adapter apply to the console eject box that is used in the e38, e39, e46 and the e53 bluetooth conversion. Currently there is about 30 of the razr adapters available in the BMW system up in Canada. The images are from my e38 and one of the e46's that I have done. The pics I have from UCrewX5's are of it apart and being modded. It looks the same as the other completed units shown.

Craig.

Speaking of the Razr, it's the most over-rated phone I have ever come across. But it was effective in increasing Motorola's global market share.
