T-Mobile SDA Bluetooth connection issues
I have 2005 X5 4.4 Non-Nav with premium pkg.
I did connected Motorola V300 V360 V3(Razr) Pebl without a problem previously. However I have issues when I connect a T-Mobile SDA. After few trials and errors, mostly because the Bluetooth setup for Microsoft Mobile OS is somewhat convoluted, I needed to really read though the manual. I was able to input the passkey and I was connected. The funny thing is the usual yellow LCD indicator light(red light when it is not connected) is not on at all. I am able to make and receive a call, but the yellow light is not on as if the ignition is not on. It doesn't even import the phone book. It functions but not having the indicator light on bugs the heck out of me. Anyone has issues with Microsoft Mobile OS based PDA phone? |
Microsoft's Bluetooth profile is as buggy as microsoft XP.
You will want to use this program to patch the bluetooth hands-free extensions. This software was made by a E46 guy using the ULF module. It seems to work really well http://www.jetwaremobile.com/ Martin |
I wasn't sure that 30day trial was gonna work so I am waiting to see if the bluetooth connection gonna mess up more.
It is very odd, when my phone bluetooth is on, X5 speakphone will still work even my car engine has been turned off for a long time. So I had to be very cautious not to make a mistake. I don't want my private conversation to be heard by anyone close to my car. |
