Pairing problems
Hi i have an X5 4.4i model april 2004 with a motorola phone pre installed. I take the car for germany and i don't understand nothing for the phone manual. The car and the navigator manuals i take them for your site. So the problem is tha i can't understand how to make the pair with my nokia 6680 or my SE W900i. There is a tiny button under the pre installed motorola phone with I and O possisions and i didn't find it on the manuals at this site. How dose is thes works? Plz help
Sorry for my english :( |
What kind of Motorola phone was pre-installed? The 2004 didn't have Bluetooth from the factory, and it's possible you have the CPT9000, which is the Motorola V60. You won't be able to pair another phone with that setup, if that's what you have, since it's not a Bluetooth based system.

No is not the V60
I post some photos to see http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...7/DSC00134.jpg and here is about the button i was talking about but i don't understand http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...7/DSC00135.jpg |
You cannot pair any other phone. The bluetooth ONLY works with the car phone.

A Bluetooth retro kit (device for pairing other phones) will cost you about 1500Euro with the charging cradle. This is information I got last year so it might be cheaper now. |
WOW 1500e?! It's a lot only for the phones. Ok i will forget it!
