I think I have Bluetooth...but not sure...

I happened to be in my car (X5 '04 4.4) trying to activate a new bluetooth ear-piece with my Blackberry. While doing so, it indicated the BMW bluetooth (ie, showed the device, when I selected, it asked for the PIN). In looking through this forum, I see that I should have the PIN either in my original paperwork, or can look in the left rear panel. I've done nothing yet other than open the panel and look in...didn't remove anything - and I've scoured my paperwork to find nothing. I'm reluctant to call the dealer, as I'd hate to pay lots of $ for them to tell me they have to "install" something, when in fact, all I need is the PIN. Any suggestions??

Locate your BT module and look for your "passcode". Read this article which contains detailed pictures for you.
