Motorola V3 Razor Crossover
Although not an X3/X5 owner, but a BMW enthusiast I need some help with my RAzorV3/Bluetooth set-up
Currently run a 2004 330Cd and have had numerous problems with the bluetooth set-up - the phone pairs OK with the car and registers the phone book , but reception and speech from the car are really bad - nobody can really hear me properly and I have to shout!!- I have had the microphone changed and the phone tested twice but my dealer cannot solve - BMW do not have the phone listed on their aooroved phones, but it seems the phone works OK in X3/X5 so should be OK in mine - can anybody help !! |
It is very important when installing the mic that it be oriented the right way. There is an arrow on it that should be pointing toward the windshield. If it's pointed the other way then you will experience problems such as what you are describing.
I don't know whether this will work on a 330 or not, but another trick on the X5 is to swap the location of the mic with the location of the sunroof switch so that it is closer to the driver's position. |
