S.O.S. Bluetooth Problem!!!
Have received BT Kit from Bimmernav, installed, was working perfectly.
Thanks a lot to Martin. But only recently one PROBLEM raised. After connecting Car --- it is constantly disconnecting and connecting (itself) every few minutes?!?! Please advice solution... Notes: 1. My Car Details: X5, 4.4i, Model: 07/2000, EURO CAR with DSP SYSTEM, Navigation, with Pair Button (taking head) on the wheel. Car VIN number (last 7 digits) = LG93501 2. My Mobile Model 6310i with Snap-in Adaptor installed. If I dial *#0000# appears following: V 5.22 15.11.02 NPL-1 (c) NMP. 3. Purchased BMW Bluetooth Kit for Euro Apollo Series (includes: BMW ULF modules with 387 version; Bluetooth Antenna; BMW Original Eject Kit with Pairing buttons; DB25 Adapter harness, SES Jumper plug & etc.) |
Check how many text messages you have, try clearing them to see if this solves the problem. It worked for me.

|

|
what phone do you have? Is the phone set to bluetooth always on?
Have you tried a different type of phone yet? |
yes i did Martin...switch on bluetooth always now...
I have tried different phone model 6230...still the same problem :( ...on-off-on-off... |
EVRIKA!!!Thanks to All!!!
Especially to X5SA!!! Thanks a lot Man!!! Now works! Seems problems was too many msgs in my mob.! Once more Great Thanks to all!!! |
Again got problem :(
It happen just now when I found my X5 with dead battery... After when I start the car with jumper cables and run a bit, I couldn't get the phone on the screen...checked it's not paired...and its refuse to pair with BT module...can't find it... most probably its required to be re-set...how I can do it? or any fuse there? |
check the fuses, you might have blown a fuse while jump starting
|
could you be so kind to advise where this fuse can be located?
|
No Martin looks like it's not a fuse, because I can run the Pairing process...but without success.BT Module don't want to see the phone...
It apprear like: 1. or mobile don't see the BT Module (shows No devices found) 2. or mobile can see device, but after dialing CORRECT password - shows Invalid Password i.e. both side working but do not want to connect. BTW I have checked all fuses in rear compartment - OK, checked fuse in the glove compartment (Telephone Fuse#7)- OK, pluged un unplug almost all connectors in BT line. PS.<<<desperately awating for you advise>>> |
I would try to remove the battery cable and try to replace with a new one. Jump starting a BMW is a BAD idea. I have seen many things get hosed up with a low or jumped BMW
Martin |
will try right now...
|
Davud, when you said you solved the on-off-on-off problem by clearing the sms did you delete sms from the phone or from the screen of your bmw?
I am not sure if I delete the sms from bmw monitor, will they actually remain in the phone inbox or are going to be deleted as well? |
