Speech recognition with Motorola v710

Has anyone figured out a way to make the 'speech recognition' function on the Motorola v710 to work (via bluetooth, of course) ?

The Motorola V710's OBEY Command system works well with Bluetooth headset, but it will NOT work with BMW Bluetooth system.

However, there is a voice recognition system built-in to the BT/Assist module ending in part# -114.

I'm pretty sure I have that BT/Assist module because I remember my sales guy briefly showing me that feature right before I drove away... but I think the system said something like 'no voice cammands programmed' ...or something like that. My v710 has speech recognition (where you don't need to record your own voice saying a name for each entry, it just recognizes the words) but it does not have the older version, voice recognition. It seems like the BT system is searching for Voice Recognition entries in the phone. Any thoughts?

As Kewl X5 stated above, the BMW BT system does not interact with the phone's voice recognition functions. :tsk:

Actually, what Kewl X5 said was that the BT/Assist system will not work with the v710's ObeyMoto Speech Recognition functions. My question is, is my understanding of the BT/Assist system's integration with voice recognition correct? And if so, is there any way I can get the BT/Assist voice recognition system to work with my v710?

The BMW BT module should allow you to store names and numbers and dial the phone with the address book you create in that module (it is not the same address book as the one in the phone). Assuming the BT/Assist module is the same as the one for the pre-2004 BT module (made by Visteon), the command set is as follows

Dial number
Dial name
Add name
Delete name
Play phonebook
Clear phonebook
Redial
