Help with an early 2004 Bluetooth install
Hey gurus,
It's been a while, but I'm focusing on the X5 once again. Looking to install a Bluetooth system for my Cingular Motorola V551 cellphone. According to the Bluetooth info on X5world, this one is compatible with the BMW system and there is a snap in adapter available. The car is an early 2004 model, built around 11/03. The car does not have Navigation nor DSP. Hence the source of my confusion. I know during this time there was some issue with BMW assist, so I'm confused as to exactly which parts to get. If you could please clue me in, I would really appreciate it. Thanks guys! From X5world I found this article http://www.bmwmotorsports.org/pdf/As..._Bluetooth.pdf which refers to an install for a 3/05 build car. Is this car close enough to my production date (11/03) for me to follow these part numbers and instructions? Thanks so much, looking to hearing from the experts. Best, Sithjedi333 |
