Adding Bluetooth ULF to 2001 E39
Anyone had experience retro fitting BMW ULF bluetooth to a car not prewired for phone ? Just wondering how hard it is. I have a Euro 2001 530i and am considering it...
thanks, Seedar. |

Hi seedar,
Yes its not to hard, very straight forward, I did just this in my E46, check this link out. http://www.xoutpost.com/bluetooth/324...h-install.html Most the parts are the same (for the E46/E39), if you want the centre console cradle you will need to add this on top, as I just used a normal pair button. If you don't have SatNav, or dont fancy making your own loom, get one from the dealer (its approx £120-$240). Or go to someone like Martin @ navman, and get the kit from him, not cheap but very good. |
Thanks
Great, thanks for your input guys, will have to do this soon ! So is it best to buy the BMW OEM from a dealer or the kits from bimmernav or elsewhere ?
cheers, Seedar |
