Pairing the Razr2
Just Got my Razr2 v9m from Verizon last night. :)
I installed the BMW bluetooth module in my e46 about a year ago, and it's been working flawlessly with my Motorola E815, but it was time to get a new phone. So now it's time to sync it up with my RAZR2. Is there any way to recover the PIN from the bluetooth module? I know it came with the card, and i *think* i remember it, but I can't seem to find the card anymore. Yes, I know, I'm an idiot. If i can't find it, can I call up BMW and get them to look it up for me? I'll let you know how it turns out. My e815 worked flawlessly 100% of the time, and I'll be pissed if the RAZR2 doesn't work. |
Was able to pair the razr2 with the bluetooth without any problems. phonebook sync'd up instantly, and the phone works great! :)

I have no intent of hooking up an external antenna. I carry my phone in my pocket, and I've never had a problem with the signal.
I suppose you could get interference with a GSM phone, since they run on a frequency that screws with the radio. If you have a GSM phone, i'm sure you've heard that weird beeping noise. My phone is CDMA, so i dont have that problem. Also, I'd have to give up my cupholders, which isn't going to happen. |
My phone is also CDMA but it would be handly to have power to it just in case. Also the connection to the antenna would ensure better reception in weaker signal areas....
