how to reset phone numbers etc
 

Bought my X5 2nd hand and have the last owners phone numbers and dirty sms messages - some good, some not so lol!

Is there a quick and easy way to wipe the memory? Tried doing it one by one but taking ages and some sms messages won't delete.

Same here with my X3. I had a 'whole life story' in SMS I reckon. About 180+ of the damned things. I did them one by one - the ones that won't delete WILL if you do them S L O W L Y 2 or 3 times.

One annoying thing I had was that after I thought I had deleted them all, another 120 or so appeared from somewhere and I had to spend the time doing it all again.
