Buying a retrofit kit: EAS or Bimmernav
Can anyone share their experience with either vendor for a Bluetooth retrofit? Specifically, I'm looking to enable my '04 X5. Both are fairly close in price, offer the 13th gen ULF and a very similar package....thoughts from the experts?

Forgot to add that I'd be pairing a Treo 750, Blackberry Curve and an iPhone. If anyone knows of incompatibilities, that would be great too. The various web sites with compatibility matrices aren't always that current.

Since your X is an 04 (and assuming you got ASSIST) you dont need alot of parts from the install kit. The BT antenna is installed already as well as the ULF bracket. All you need is the ULF and the Eject box. I did mine like 15 mins, its an easy install. Bought mine from ebay, $240 for a 12th gen ULF and $40 for eject box. If you're not planning to use an Iphone, you dont need a 13th Gen ULF.
