SMS reading and receiving?
 

Good morning everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how i get my fone
an nokia 8800 scirroco to link my sms texts to my car, x5 e53,this used to work with my older nokia 8800,but seems to have stopped with my new fone,any help greatly appreciated

Dont know about the specific model but there are only few phones that are 100% compatible with the BMW BT. Check the list

I have same problem on 12th gen ULF:
Nokia 8800 cant call, but sms works.
Nokia 8800 Sirroco calls, but sms does not work.

Check the phone settings, some phones have setting that will disable bluetooth cals from external source. This is becouse there have been some reports about bluetooth hacks that will let someone use your phone withouth you knowing about it.
Well you eventualy find out (when the bill comes) :)

It is totally phone dependant I believe. I have a Motorola U6 Pebl and you can't read the SMS.
