Voice dialing using the directory
 

My directory down loaded completely but I can't dial from it using my voice. I can use my voice to dial numbers manually or for new entry. 2003 540 sport with Bimmer Nav 13 generation Bluetooth module, Verizon KRZR1 phone.

I am pretty sure that is how it works. You can use the steering wheel controls to cycle through the phone directory and dial from there.

You can make voice dial phonebook by saying ad name, or ad number not sure

They are two separate functions. The directory you are seeing is just a mirror of what is stored in your phone. If you want to voice dial by name you need to add the same names and numbers in to the ULFs memory by pressing the talking head button and saying "store name", the system will then ask you for the name and then the number. You will need to do this for each entry.
Once done you can give it the command to "dial name" and it will ask you to speak the name then you tell it to dial.

The voice dialing on my BB 8830 does not work when linked to the BMW, does anyone else of this issue?
