Motorola E815 feedback wanted

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this phone today. From what I hear, it is a recommended phone for the BMW bluetooth system, has a snap in cradle available, and transfers the phonebook seamlessly to the X.

If any of you have it, how do you like it thus far? Any complaints?

Thanks in advance,

Greg

UPDATE 9/19/05:

I bought the E815 and my phone contacts sync up with my X perfectly, first time every time.

Now, you can call my cellphone for free....welcome to Verizon Wireless.

Hey Doc, do you know if there is a specific snap in adapter for the E815, or do I just order the one for the V710? I only need the snap in adapter right? Is that also called the "cradle", or is that a different part?

Wow, I think there is a specific snap-in for the E815, but don't quote me on that one....I know there have been problems with the cradle for the V710.....

I think Ucrew is more of an expert with the snap-in adaptor.....However, you could always call up Crevier BMW parts and speak with Art or Teresa or even Joe.

Both my wife have this phone, here are my comments:
1) The phone has excellent RF performance -- very few dropped calls compared to my previous Verizon phone (and Verizon clearly the best network IMHO)
2) VCAST is cool. It's great when you're travelling and want to know what is going on. I especially like the CNN video news updates
3) BT seems to be working flawlessly with headsets and phonebook synching with my Macintosh. I am just now installing the new TCU into my '04 and will report back soon.
4) Speakerphone is great, ringtones are great.
hope this helps!

I agree with all of your comments so far, thanks!

I took a risk and ordered the snap-in adapter for the V710. I just received it, and my E815 fits perfectly into it.
