updating motorola kit to Bluetooth
 

Hi all,

I just bought my March 2001 530i (e39) with full comms pack. I want to remove the existing Motorola handset from the centre console and install the bluetooth ULF.

However, before purchasing I have a question:

Does the cable that connects to the controller unit for the motorola in the rear boot space, simply unplug and connect to the bluetooth ULF ?

do i need to order a specific ulf? like Part no: 84.21 6-945387-01

is that all i need to do ?

I assume that cable also carries the microphone signal etc.

anybody want the motorola parts and the phone ?
