Has anyone done this install recently with photo's or a good description regarding location and where the connector is?. This install http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...ticle&artid=10 dosn't seem to match what I have.

are you sure you don't already have it? Try pressing and holding down the button on your steering wheel with the "talking head" (not the r/t button). See if you get a beep. if so, say "help" and away you go....

Nope no beep from the talking head. As I understand it it was not included till the March/April 2005 builds.

Yo Quickie, you pretty much just need to sniff around behind and around the component rack looking for that blue plug. It will have a jumper already plugged in to it to close the loop. When you find it, you just remove the jumper (save it) and plug it into the VM. The VM can then be tucked in snugly anywhere in that compartment area. No need to professionally install it using the bracket. If that doesn't make sense, please ask more detailed questions, and/or request pictures and I will snap a few for you.

Actually it makes perfect sense. I figured that was the key but needed someone to confirm it. Thanks Bro.Guess I'll go out and get one ASAP. BTW.I don't want the dealer pawning off an older model. Anything I need to watch for?

Not really. If you get lucky, you can find one on eBaY. I sold mine there for $225.
