Nokia N97 not Pairing 2004 E46

Can any of you guys tell me why my N97 connects to the bluetooth and then disconnects almost immediately

I've tried various Mobiles and they are all fine eg Ericsson, Samsung all display my phonebook and SMS messages why not the Nokia :dunno:really pissed with this phone cost a fortune:(
I've updated the Firmware of the phone to the latest version 20 so its not that.

Is there settings I have to adjust to get this to work on the phone or the Car.

Not to put in telefone-be connected automatically! When will receive phone inquiry about connection-answer is not present. Then most to initiate connection! It can be demanded to several times. A problem in software Nokia

Probably. But at those phones Nokia которыя I tried all there was this problem which dared how I have written. Thus versions of insertions at them were different

and regarding your question, I as far as I remember you need to download and install a software from Nokia in order for it to work correctly with BMW

if you have a samsung, then why you software Nokia? you tried to connect your samsung?

I do not have a samsung, I am asking if samsung phones are displaying sms on the screen. if yes, which models?

I do not know About samsung .A with what you got the sms should be displayed on the monitor of the car in case your mobile phone and car at BT?

Sorry my mistake I have a Samsung Omnia and a Ericsson w880i
the latter displays Phonebook and SMS but the Omnia only does phonebook but both connect and stay connected, unlike the Nokia N97

bigedd, I have tried a nokia 6131 today and I have the same problem - the phone connects and then disconnects over and over again.

I am still looking for a solution, but strangely the sms are displayed on the bmw screen while the phone is connected

The N97 doesn't stay connected long enough for it to display anything:(
Would be good if someone could come up with a solution
