Which Lead Shoud I Order?

I have retro fitted BT TCU into 2003 Range Rover.

I ordered 8450 6928 461 (Bluetooth Antenna) but i used the lead from the old BIT II unit to connect it.

Now i realise these leads only plug into one place on the TCU even though it has multiple sockets. So what i'm thinking is i used the wrong lead to the antenna is plugged into the wrong socket?

Whats the part number for a bluetooth antenna lead for a EURO X5?

I think i used the WDCT antenna lead with the violet plug on TCU end.

Use part number 61.12-0 137 616 for the Bluetooth antenna cable.

But it lists that as the lead for a Siemens BIT II unit which never had bluetooth, only the WDCT, GSM or GPS antenna, so the connector on the opposite end to the aerial wont plug into the bluetooth socket on an Everest TCU

Part number 61.12-0 137 616 is the most popular part people use for bluetooth antenna cables on TCU and ULF modules. I have no idea what else there would be out there.

Do you know what colour connectors are on it? I presume black on the antenna end, but the TCU end?

Thanks

It has been a while since I have seen one. If I remember correctly, it has the same plug on both ends. I am pretty sure that the plug on the BT antenna is the exact same as the corresponding plug on the BT antenna connection on the TCU and ULF.

OK thanks will take a look. If i understand correctly then i should be able to take the lead off and flip it round and still plug it back on the same connectors.

Will update tomorrow

The cable itself is just RG174, it can carry any signals you like from DCHz to about 10GHz. As long as it's plugged into the correct things at both ends and the connectors fit, you will be fine.

I was under the impression the BT FAKRA (Male) was a cream socket.

WDCT is DECT and at 2.4GHz, and thats why WDCT and BT antenna had the same part number back in ~1999, now discontinued and replaced with the latest BT antenna. Check out my post on what FAKRA connectors are keyed for. You might be able to get a 5m Jack B - Jack B cable on eBay.
