Address Import - Blackberry 9000
 

I currently have a 2010 X5 and use a HTC touchpro which imports addresses and subsequently can be used as navigation destinations - a very useful feature.

I'm looking at getting a Blackberry 9000 and was wondering if anyone knows if this feature actually works.

BMW's bluetooth table suggests it may not work correctly for blackberry

Most of the times these things are a PITA if you use a phone not specified as supported.

Can't comment on your particular phone, but the amount of posts I see about "I bought a phone that wasn't supported and it's not supported!!111" is pretty high.

I think there is a blackberry thread a couple of posts below this one where some success is reported after an update.

Yes the car is usually at fault, and it's crazy that a ten your old BT profile is only half working even now.

can anyone share their experience with the blackberry bold 9000?

The phone appears to have extensive support according to the BMW bluetooth tables, but has a gap in address resolution for satnav destinations

on my 2010 x5d w/ a Bold I can sync names and phone numbers but have not been able to get the addresses to sync
