tbailey1712 said that he installed a kit from EAS about four years ago. At that time, EAS was selling the complete BMW OE, ULF-based system complete with the BMW BT antenna and BT antenna cable. So, if tbailey1712 installed everything that came in his kit, he would not have connected anything to existing components in the car.

True. Although there may be an antenna in the car already if the vehicle was prewired for phone, or had the WDCT handset from the factory and the ULF replaced the WDCT TCU. |
