Verizon Razr V3c

Verizon website says:

*The RAZR V3c supports the Wireless Headset & Handsfree Bluetooth Profiles. It does not support Bluetooth object transfer (OBEX) profiles. Accessories sold separately. See Bluetooth for details.

Is this a problem if trying to pair the Razr with a 2006 X5?

Thanks.

OBEX is only needed to transfer files/pictures via BT to the computer. It shouldn't even matter if it's enabled or not to work with your X. By the way, all the razr's have OBEX enabled. Big oops on verizon's part for trying to rush the phone to the market.

I doubt it was an "error or omission". More likely is that Motorola was instructed by Verizon to disable that feature on the phone in order to force their customers to only use its network features (at a price). They've done the same thing on all of the other Bluetooth phones for thier network.

nope. Motorola doesn't disable the features. Verizon does so it forces the customer to use "Get It Now" However Verizon released a statement saying they didn't disable OBEX and that an must get update was coming out in january

I've read all the threads and I am confused. Will the Motorola RAZR work with the X5 using the Verizon network.

I was at the BMW dealer today and the service manager told me it would not work.

Please help if you have a RAZR, X5 and Verizon. Thanks!
