X5 Maintenance in San Diego
So I have searched the boards and found some really imformative stuff on So Cal quality maintenance locations, but would anyone have any recomendations for a quality location(s) (Dealer or not) in the San Diego area?
My dear friend keeps geeting the worse quality service. She has tried dearlerships and certified BMW repair shops. And she has had nothing but bad luck. It seems as though she takes her X5 in and it is back 2 weeks later. Any recomendations would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Its hard to give a recommendation without knowing more details :
- is the X under warranty or maintenance ? - what is the nature of the work needed ? PM me if you want personal recommendation for non-warranty, non-dealer BMW work in SD. As regards dealers : BMW of SD : part of huge national franchise, vast showroom with granite, marble and soaring ceiling. Big stock, impersonal service, huge number of service bays and 'factory line' efficiency in moving customers quickly through. Cunningham in El Cajon : family owned and operated, small showroom (like 2 cars ! but with larger outside lot), small number of service advisors who quickly get to know you by name. Dealers also in Escondido and Encinitas. I've have good reports from both. |
