Question Anybody with DFW, TX info?

I'm the new owner of a 2004 X5 3.0i that I got via my bank as a repo earlier this week. I have a little bit of service history on it from calling the selling dealer with the VIN... otherwise, I'm in the dark. It has 65,700 miles on it and I'm looking for advice on (1) "Classic BMW" in Richardson and (2) perhaps a good indy service provider. I bumbled upon the "Overseas Service Haus, Inc." facility in Frisco as a possibility but have no data on them (yet) either. The gauge is showing yellow/red "inspection" lights so I'm looking to get it handled quickly. I live in "far north Dallas" (McKinney/Plano/Frisco/Allen area)... Thanks!

hmm...
Classic BMW is closest to you (dealers), but most locals prefer making the long drive to moritz or autobahn (much better service in DFW)
For Indy shops...you can try Autoscope (coit/plano parkway) or stett performance (somewhere on K avenue) both are cheaper than the dealer.
good luck

Thumbs up Worth a try...

Thanks for the leads, folks... I ended up giving "Overseas Service Haus" in Frisco a try.
  • Service II with spark plugs: $495 (Classic BMW: $740.34)
  • Brake fluid flush: $0/included (Classic BMW: $137)
  • Alignment: $95 (Classic BMW: $150)
They also mentioned they use the BMW recommended synthetic oil for the service work. (I didn't get the specifics but I think it was Castrol Syntec?)

I'd have to double-check, but I think the spark plug service/parts is an additional $272.80 from Classic BMW also.

Other minor things... courtesy shuttle to/from work; basic car wash.
