Never had anything but good experiences with the service and parts department (although I don't BRIBE my SA's like some a' you do, so I end up with Enterprise rentals for loaners), but it's good to know that if you have a problem, this is what comes to your rescue! Guy had a blown rear tire in his '03 7 series.

Good to hear, JV. I don't think my dealer has that mobile assistance... I've never seen any sign of it. The one time my 330xi broke down (in my driveway, 6 days after I picked it up) I had to go to school so I didn't see what went on, but as far as I know it was just flatbedded... Maybe it's just for flat tires? I see the A4 wagons with "Mobile Assistance- Audi of Nashua" written on the side all the time, but I've never seen one from my dealer.

Do you guys have any recommenations for another service center that isn't a dealership for simple things like oil changes? Live in the metro DC area and it is time for the oil change and I just don't feel like shelling out all that legal tender for something that shouldn't cost as much as it does. I know I have asked this question b4 but I forgot where you people said I should go.

I recommend Martin Motorsports in Alexandria, off of Duke St. Talk to Gary about getting your X in there. He's the owner, he'll take care of you. Make sure to let him know if you want to wait for your car or drop it off when you schedule something.

Try Einstein's Motors in College Park. The owner, Gary, used to work at Passport before he branched out on his own.

Thanks JVZ and pseto- just got off the phone with Gary at Martin Motorsports and he seems like a hell of a guy- going there on Tuesday- felt like i was family already and the phone call lasted about 3 minutes!
