My 2009 X5 Purchase Experience (DC Metro)

I requested a quote for 2009 X5 3.0 from Sterling, fairfax, VOB, Passport BMW dealers through Edmunds. Except for Passport everyone replied via email. Fairfax & Sterlng provided a quote but VOB didn't.

I ended up purchasng from BMW of Fairfax. I paid approx $1000 over invoice (3000 below MSRP) with following options.
Major: Premium pkg, Tech Pkg, Cold wthr pkg, Rear climate pkg .
Minor: Sirius and some other options.

Sales person I dealt with was James Duerbeck. I believe he is the internet director. While I was there I did notice sales guys with an attitude (this is just my observation). We all know there are good salespeople and bad ones. May be I got lucky with James. All I can tell is that I had a very good experience purchasing from BMW Fairfax. I will have my fingers crossed about Service dept. when I get to that point.

Email or PM me if I can be of help. Thanks.
