Bonehead Question....clay...

.....O.K.....Just got towels and a bar of clay from Waynes Towels...how do I correctly use the clay?? Not sure, don't want to FU my sweet Oxford Green....Help!

I found this thread from Bimmerfest very helpful.

I use Z6 as my lubricant, and plenty of it.

What color clay is it? Different colors have different "powers" of removal.

You use Z6 as a lube? That's the gloss enhancer... I use a little Z7 wash mixed with water in a spray bottle - does the trick for me....

That's cool. The yellow or blue clay is supposed to be "medium" strength, there's another color that's extra strong- in terms of how much previous wax, etc. it will remove, and a new color that I haven't seen that is supposed to be very mild.

The new clay I got from Zaino is sort of reddish coral color. I don't know what type of strength it has though...
