Dawn Alternative
Hey, experienced Zaino already, but wanting to know if there is an alternative to Dawn when stripping the old wax? Can any dishwashing detergent work? Zaino site speaks of only using Dawn, but I can't seem to find it in my neck of the woods.

I would avoid a regular use of "Dawn" or its equvialent...
after Z'ng it, why would you want to use a high pH soap again? If you really want some, I can't believe your local grocery, Walgreens, et al., doesn't have it...it's a nationwide product. BR,md

Has anyone tried using the tri color foam at carwashes? I have been using it for about two years now and my car looks brand new. It gives it a super shine and it as smooth as a baby's azzzz.....

Any detergent will work that is designed to strip grease off of dirty plates and pans, lol!!
You can also use a solvent, such as Prep-Sol which painters use before painting a car as a wipe down to make sure there are no contaminants, wax, etc..., Actually, this works great. Before I Zaino, I started using this method "if" I already had a coat of "other" sealant on the car. |
