I hope someone can help me.
I bought my X5 on E-Bay about 3 weeks ago. I noticed a lot of hard water spots on the Exterior Black Pillars and Shadow Trim. I have tried to get them off with household products (Lime Away, CLR, Windex) and Car Products (Polishing Cream, Mother's Back to Black). They won't come off. I had the X5 checked out at Crevier BMW and told my SA about these water spots. He said he detailer can get them off, but he is backed up. Ha! One week later and I still can't get an appointment. Anyone here know how to remove them? The X5 came from Boston and I am guessing Salt/Water/Snow etc. Maybe the spots are on the paint - which I can't see - Silver Paint Thanks!
