How to avoid offroad scratching

Imagine that we would take our X3 out to the middle of the forest and that we would try to fit it into tight places with bushes on the sides >

What would you recommend to prevent scratching the front and side of the car? Is there anything that can be applied before to help?

And after the damage? What to do to hide the scratches from the leasing company?

Or should I just admit that the X3 is indeed a SUV and not suitable for off-road? It's gonna be hard to see our friends having fun with their land rovers and other "proper" 4x4 vehicles and having us leaving the car at the nearest road :P

(also, any advice for proper and cheap mud tires?)

Just my 2 cents. But park yours and get in their ride. No imagination needed. Perhaps what you wrote should have said.................

You can probably do fine, if it isnt crazy off road... Since it is a lease, I personally wouldn't play aroud with that, because if anything goes wrong, even if it isnt related to the off roading, they are going to blame it on you...
